What is the 2021 Virtual Summer Event?
The 2021 Summer Event has been designed to boost your technical skills and career prospects. You'll hear tips from Industry Experts about how to get your first job in cyber, how to network and build relationships with other professionals and we'll hear from them how the threat landscape has changed in the last year.
You’ll also get the chance to put everything you've learned in Cyber Discovery to the test in a brand-new Capture The Flag (CTF) challenge.
When is the event taking place?
The event will take place on the evening of Thursday 3rd June and the daytime of Saturday 5th June. The full schedule will be available from Friday 21st May.
How is the event being delivered?
The event will be delivered virtually via Zoom.
What is the criteria to qualify for this event?
Students will be selected to attend the event based on a combination of performance criteria from across Cyber Discovery. The event will be limited to 500 places.
How will I be notified that I have qualified to attend the event?
Invitations for the event will be sent via email by the end of the day on Friday 21st May. Please don’t forget to check your junk/spam folders.
What should I do if I haven’t received an invitation?
All invitations will be sent by the end of the day on Friday 21st May. If you do not receive an email invitation by this time, then unfortunately, you have not been selected to attend this event. The event recordings will be made available to all Cyber Discovery participants after the event.
